Not really my era!

Ford Consul and Jensen 541

Great in a car chase, until they had to go round a corner.

Sparkly burgundy paint job on a souped up Ford Consul

Plenty of Triumph Stags

Not sure what it is, but it won't fit in my garage.

Ford Gran Torino

Classic? My Mum had three of these - crap.

Simon Templar alert - Volvo P1800

Another, er, 'classic'. The Austin Princess. Nice colour.

Kit car. Good one though.

Bond Bug. A sort of Reliant Robin coupe?

Ford Capri.

More hot-rods.

Mini Coopers.

Rover 3500 (P5) in black.

A camper van with leaded windows?

A sort of Hillman Imp coupe - the Sunbeam Stiletto.

This delivery lorry took a wrong turning into the show.

Can't believe this is 25 years old. ( Ferrari 308GTB )

Various 60's Morris and Austins.

Austin Healey 3000

Sunbeam Alpines

More vintage stuff.

Old Austin.

A New Jersey fire engine

Sure getaway drivers must have been petrified - Ford Anglia

Commer fire engine

Huge American - Buick.

Cracking Frogeye. ( Austin Healey Sprite )

MG Midget ( a rebodied A-H Sprite ).

Mrs Builder tries out a Mini - she used to own one in the Eighties.

Why would anyone save these for 30 years.

  2. Your photo of the Consul and Jensen together is very interesting as they were designed by brothers. Eric Neale (who I met in 1991) designed the Jensen 541 and his younger brother Colin Neale (who I spoke to on the telephone in Detroit this week) designed the MK2 Ford Consul, at around the same time.
